POWER WELLNESS ADDS 9 NEW MANAGED CENTERS IN 2018

Power Wellness Management (Power) added 9 centers under management in 2018, including 7 transitions and 2 new developments.  To support the expansion, Power hired over 800 team members in northern Illinois, Cincinnati, and Baton Rouge.  With over 2,800 team members and 39 hospital, medical college and foundation owned health and fitness centers, Power remains the nation’ largest medical fitness management company.

According to Chief Executive Officer, Ken Gorman, “Power Wellness is excited to partner with Bon Secours Mercy Health and Northwestern Medicine to help their systems improve population health through our unique health education, nutrition counseling and prescriptive fitness programs”.

In addition to the new centers, all 12 of Power’s contracts expiring in 2018 were renewed by clients for another 2 to 5 years each.  According to President and COO, Brian Hummert, “We are sincerely humbled by the continued confidence of our clients to deliver high quality staff, programs and outcomes, evidenced by our average Net Promoter Score of 72 (excellent).  Based on new contracts executed in the 1st quarter already, Power is expected to manage over 40 centers and 3,000 team members by the end of 2019.”
