Program Highlight: Mount Carmel Fitness Center Introduces the BodyScript Challenge

Since 2016 Mount Carmel Fitness Center in Lewis Center, Ohio has brought health and fitness programs to Delaware County. The 50,000 square foot facility features a fitness floor with cardio and strength-training equipment, an indoor walking/jogging track, three swimming pools, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms and more. Mount Carmel Fitness Center currently serves over 4,800 members. The Medical Fitness Association (MFA) certified facility recently added the BodyScript™ Body Composition Analyzer to its comprehensive member offerings.

BodyScript™ lets members track key biometrics such as:

• Weight
• Body Mass Index (BMI)
• Muscle Mass
• Lean Body Mass
• Metabolic Rate
• Total Water

Members can print results or scan them into their mobile device, accurately and securely measuring progress towards individual fitness goals.

To spread the word about the new BodyScript™ analyzers, Mount Carmel Fitness Center launched “The BodyScript™ Challenge” in mid-February, 2023. Participants completed an initial assessment with a Fitness Specialist to create a realistic body composition goal. Then, participants will record one self-assessment each week using the BodyScript™ unit for five weeks, for a chance to earn prizes while working towards their fitness goals. A final assessment will be completed with a Fitness Specialist to track their progress and complete the challenge. The BodyScript™ Challenge runs through March 11, 2023.
