Troy represents Gorman Family Holdings, the company’s majority shareholder, as a Board Manager. Troy was born in Panama and grew up in Indiana. He developed a love of horses at a young age which brought him to the Chicago area in 1990 where he met Laura Gorman in 1994 and married in 1995.
In 1995, Troy brought his knowledge of horses to the Gorman family show stable known as “Woodrun", where he and Laura continued a very successful show career with many National and International Championships and accomplishments.
In 2007, Troy created the “No Camper Left Behind Fund” which allows children, who otherwise could not afford it, to attend the YMCA summer camp in Lafayette IN in memory of his father. Each year roughly 30 children attend a one-week session of camp where they create new friendships, new memories, and experience activities they would most likely never get to do. Troy’s father had a motto that “every child should be able to go to camp” and this fund helps fulfill that motto.
Troy lives with his wife, Laura, and son in Ocala, FL. He enjoys racing cars, raising dogs and drinking Mountain Dew.
